Herman Duarte is the founder and managing director of Simple Legal Consulting, the firm behind Wayfinder. He has practised immigration and investment law for more than fifteen years, and he takes the first call himself.
He holds a master's degree from Stockholm University and another from the London School of Economics, where he studied as a Chevening Scholar. He has published two books and more than 200 articles, and the Costa Rica Bar Association has invited him to lecture on the legal and sociological side of the Digital Nomad Visa.
He was highlighted as an attorney by the British Embassy in Costa Rica, in a list of 31 names out of the 45,000 lawyers registered in the country.
