The office
Lindora, Santa Ana.
The immigration work is done from one office in San José. You are welcome to come in person, and every meeting starts with a booked time so nobody waits.
Wayfinder began with a phone that would not stop ringing: people from abroad asking whether a different life was still possible. We are the immigration branch of Simple Legal Consulting, not a boutique firm, and the idea has not changed. Move the country, keep the standard: simple steps, plain answers and one person who carries your file from the first call to the residency card.
The name
Why Wayfinder
The note we wrote for the home page, about the people the name comes from and what this practice is for.
Open the conceptual note
Wayfinder takes its name from the people we serve.
People who look at their lives and ask what else is possible. Who explore alternatives, think ahead and take an active part in deciding what comes next.
For some, that question begins with a changing political climate. For others, it comes from financial or tax considerations, the wish to bring their family somewhere new, or the freedom to enjoy a retirement they have worked hard to make possible. Sometimes it begins with a deeply personal decision: it is time to start again.
The reasons are different. What connects these people is their willingness to explore a way forward.
You choose the direction. We help you take the next step.
At Wayfinder, the immigration law practice of Simple Legal Consulting, we support that spirit with thoughtful legal guidance. We begin with the life you want to build, explain the options in Costa Rica and how they fit your plans.
For all the wayfinders.
The collection
The office as a constellation.
Ten works, five zones, one conversation. The collection does not illustrate the legal work: it changes the rhythm of the room where that work happens.
“I did not bring these works together to fill walls. I brought them together so that the office could hold memory, tension and conversation. Each piece arrived for a different reason, and over time they began to relate to one another: colour opened the entrance, silence protected the reception, the body claimed presence, the sphere recalled origin, quartz turned a cabinet into a threshold, and gratitude announced what is still to come.”
